To Our Valued Entrepreneurs, Investors, Sponsors/Partners & Friends of NOA #Together We are Strong.

The global spread of COVID-19 is affecting everyone both personally and professionally. On behalf of the Northern Ontario Angels Board of Directors, we want you to know that the health and safety of our employees and consultants is our primary consideration.   I wanted to take a moment to summarize some of the things we are doing to keep everyone safe during this crisis while continuing business operations:

Our staff and consultants are working remotely from their home offices providing teleconference and video conference meetings.

No face to face meetings or pitch events will be held at this time. We invite entrepreneurs to pitch to us via video so that we can provide this information on the private Investor Portal.  Please contact Kimberley Wahamaa for guidelines on how to submit.

Our private Investor Portal is available for viewing new deals online.  If you are interested in signing up to view this portal, please reach out to our local NOA consultants .

We encourage you to like and share our Northern Ontario Angels social media pages on both Facebook and Linked In and sign up for our quarterly e-newsletter.

Our online applications for entrepreneurs and investors continue to be open for business. We invite you to apply online at

If you have a product/service that can help our province at this time, we encourage you participate in the Government’s Ontario Together Campaign.

Our NOA Gold Sponsors have relevant information that may help you during this time:

How do we adapt to COVID-19, articles from BDO

With this downtime, you may be considering patent protection and other forms of Intellectual Property (IP) protection for your company, products, and technology. Bereskin & Parr LLP specializes in IP and would be happy to speak with anyone that has any questions on IP.  If you are interested, please contact our NOA consultants who will introduce you to Bereskin & Parr

While we can’t predict the future, we are doing everything in our power to keep our normal operations flowing so we may continue to deliver our services to you, our valued clients.  We take all aspects of the situation seriously and will be continually updating our policies and procedures as new and updated information is available.
If you have any questions please contact us.   Thank you and be safe.
